“I believe that art is a form of expression of the soul, regardless of the object, the time or the means of representation. My creations reflect the times in which I live, with humanity, society, politics and emotions playing a central role. There can be no art without social and humanitarian engagement. My work also explores the fundamental challenges that artists have always faced—balance, form, space, light, colour and movement—examining the solutions developed throughout art history in order to address the technical challenges of the present.”
